Preventative Maintenance and Inspection tasks are generated per the created preventative maintenance schedules. All generated tasks will populate in this module. You may find that the module has a name similar to what is shown here:
Click on a task you would like to begin performing. You may notice that the Task Type will help you determine if a task is preventative maintenance or an inspection. You can sort the tasks by category by clicking on the category header.
When you click on one of the tasks, you will see all relevant information, including related equipment, procedures, status, and the activity log, which allows you leave comments on the record.
As steps in the procedure are completed, select the relevant checkbox to mark as completed.
There are four step types, each with different methods of completion:
Checkbox - The basic entry type, the user must simply click on a check box to complete the task.
Dropdown - Select from a list of options. You may have the ability to select multiple options.
Text input - Type in any alphanumeric sequence (words, number values, etc) to complete the step.
File upload - Upload a photo or other file type.
When each step has been marked as completed, the task will automatically submit as completed.
If in the course of your inspection, you find that an item requires the generation of a Work Order, click the +Clipboard icon next to the completion box, and a Work Order window will pop up.
Fill out the work order page as normal. You may note that the details section is auto-filled with metadata that will allow you and your engineers to understand what necessitated the work order.
To mark each task as completed simultaneously, select Complete Task in the top right.
