Creating and Sending a Mass Message

Send out mass communications

Locate the Mass Messaging module under SecurityHub.

The initial landing page for this module displays all previously sent mass messages. Click on a message to view which channels it was sent though and to who. It will also display the body of the message and exact time.



To begin creating a mass message, click +Create New in the top right of the page.



Begin filling in required information, including Subject, Message Body, and through which mediums you would like to transmit the message. You can select between email, SMS (text), or through the mobile app.



You can filter between four categories to specify who you want to receive the message. These filters include Users, Company, Company Type, and Role. Note that all of these filters are optional.

If filters are left blank, your message will automatically send to each registered user in your building.

When finished, select Add Item to send your message. This message will be reflected on the landing page of the module.

On the dashboard, select the message you sent. A table including each user and the status of the message will be displayed. A green check indicates it was sent successfully, while a yellow check indicates there was an issue.
