Menu Manager
The Menu Manager screen allows you to customize the layout of your BuildingHub site menu, including the order of sections and subsections, names, and icons. The Menu Manager can be selected from the System Administration view under Global Settings.
The menu manager screen will show an expanded version of the way your hub menu is laid out, including views of the sub-items under each section heading.
To add a new menu item, click “Add Item” at the top right corner of the menu manager. You will get a popup window.
The popup window will ask you to choose some options for your new menu item. Anything with a red asterisk is required. The options are:
Type - The kind of menu item you want to add
Feature - What module within BuildingHub do you want to add to the menu?
Product - What product offering created within BuildingHub would you like to link to?
Section Title - If creating a new section header with sub-items under it, what would you like to name it? Note: if you try to save a section title without first putting items under it, the section title will not save or appear within the Hub view
Internal Link - What page within your BuildingHub site would you like to link to?
External Link - What page outside of your hub would you like to link to?
Title - The name of the menu item
Icon (Optional) - the icon that appears next to the title in the menu
When you have finished creating the menu item, click Save Changes at the top right corner. When the save it complete, you should be able to go back to the Hub view and see the changes to the menu.
